You Thcuba? (refer to Along Came Polly)

Ihave been in this scuba class since the middle of March or so. Yes, I take those kind of classes, I am also in a very rewarding Yoga class, thank you very much. But, despite the good times had in the University of Utah's pool, it was time for us to become PADI certified. So, I know what you may be thinking, "Rachelle, how would a person pick a place to scuba dive with all of the luscious options in Utah, especially at this time of year?" Well, let me satisfy your curiosity and tell you that we went to Blue Lake in Wendover, NV. Quite possibly the cutest, quaintest little town to grace this here globe. (For those of you who have been there, there is no mistaking my sarcasm). Although I can't complain about the temp of the water, yes, it was snowing outside when we got in. We had to do two dives for two days. It was a pain, I have never been colder, you couldn't see two feet in front of you under the water, but all in all, I had a good time. I'm so excited to be certified for Hawaii, I hear its just a smidge better than Blue Lake, but that's just a rumor. These are my two new peeps that have come out of this experience and the two hour drive to and fro each day could not have been the same without these two gals. Oh, and I know, wet suits....atttractive.

A Society Of Relief

Relief Society Retreat:

So, my old bishop, Bishop Whitman, is an amazing man. I have been so lucky since I have moved up here to move into a very tight nit ward with nothing but awe-inspiring bishops. Bishop Whitman has a cabin up in Park City and its grandiose nature is worthy of a little drool. It is amazing. He kindly let us use it again this year for our annual Relief Society retreat and yet again it was another huge success. We always have phenomenal speakers and this year was an older woman...(can't remember her name, but lets just remember that she rocked my literal and figurative world). She talked about being proactive and I loved every second of it. We partied all night, ate WAY too much but nonetheless delish food and I'm pretty sure I freaked all my other sister christians out several times. All in all, a great trip.

Shannon and Caroline , nothing but happy to be in the gospel

Fin and Me, getting saucy and wistful

AMAZING ladies. left:speaker, sister Whitman, sister Rhyser, and Sister Hanson

Me and the big Whit-man, He is amazing and the fact that all of his sons are married is just another verification that the only way of me succeeding in this life is to quit school and become his cook. That's the only way for me to be in this family and by cracky I'll do it! Oh, and this man does the Iron Man each year....yeah, your self-esteem is shot? Mine too.

Futbol and Best Friends

I happen to know that I am one of the luckiest gals on the planet earth. Why you ask? Your looks Rachelle? No, close, but no. Your remarkable wit and intellect Rachelle? No, again, close, but not it. I shall tell you, it is because for about 8 years now I have been blessed with the best friends in the entire world. How many girls do you know who had good, trustworthy, non-boy-crazy, CONFIDENT girlfriends in high school? Yeah, the number is always slim when I try and think of it. But I have these boys and I love them so much it makes me ache in my innards. And we're STILL friends! I have 3 possible conclusions pertaining to this: either A-we truly are best friends and love eachother most, B- really suck at making new friends, or C- Can't find any other persons to understand or deal with our absurdness....I'm still debating between the options. Anyway, Tan, Eric, Sid/squid/skids and Althea all came up for the weekend and played with me and leonard. Sorry there aren't any pics of lee...the little oaf never gets in em. Tan was dying to emulate my tie dye experience, so I had another weekend of tie dyes (in the snow I might add) and they turned out marvelous. I love those fat boys!!!

tans a perv, we all already knew it

Check out EEyricas HUGS eyeballs and lashes, crazy balls eh

So, this is my indoor soccer team, cleverly called the B squad. We play every week in Woodscross at this indoor facility that is pretty decked out. It is mucho good times and I love it because it's my best work-out for the entire week. I wish I had a picture of the bruise I got this past week. I literally have a bruise that takes up my entire calf and has lines of a soccer ball. Reminds me of the good ol days in high school when you couldn't tell if I was wearing blue jeans or not because of my battered/beaten body....ah, how I miss them.
